Yes, we’re always happy to accept pets at Hermit Cottage, but be aware,
there will be a pet fee which will be communicated to guests.

We certainly cater to tradesmen, business travellers and any non-holiday
guests seeking to say from two-weeks up to 5 months. 

We do request a 10% deposit on all bookings. This is returned up to 7 days
after check-out in full, to the main guest, providing there’s no damage or loss of
property possessions. 

Not quite – After selecting your period of stay and paying for those dates, a
10% deposit is requested. Additionally, guest ID verification is requested using LetHQ,
who use UK Government-certified ID Document Validation Technology (IDVT) and an
e-Contract is sent out to guest for signature. This is a standard procedure and is to
ensure everything is above board and we can deliver fantastic value to all guests. 

Being a self-catering holiday-let, complementary cleaning isn’t offered
during a guest stay, but we do provide extra linen and towels. Cleaning can be
requested at an additional cost using our local cleaning company who we can highly
recommend.

Indeed, we are always open to guest bookings that fall outside the
traditional booking norm. Please contact us to discuss should this be the case.
